Admissions of attorneys and counselors to practice law in Florida is declared, by Florida Statute 454.02 to be a judicial function. Florida Statute 454.11 allows every attorney duly admitted or authorized to practice in Florida the right to appear before any court of the state.
Patent law, bankruptcy, and immigration law, are under federal jurisdiction. This is mandated in the U.S.A. Constitution. State courts, bar associations and other government entities may not restrict the practice of that field of law. Thus, these attorneys may freely advise clients as to these matters anywhere in the jurisdiction of the United States without regard to state court or bar association rules.
